Leisure Travel Alliance (LTA) is a travel marketing network of world class travel
suppliers and professional travel agents. Features and benefits for affiliated travel
agents include enhanced access to leading
travel suppliers, negotiated pricing,
marketing programs, ongoing education, enhanced compensation and efficient travel
technology tools.
Reciprocally, LTA provides suppliers with marketing, sales, training and technology
pipelines to large numbers of professional travel agents combined with LTA’s hands-on,
high-touch management of supplier/agent relationships.
The ultimate goal is to provide consumers with access to high-quality, high-value
vacation offerings of world class tour operators, cruise lines, resorts and hotels
combined with destination expertise, product experience, and pricing validation
provided by professional travel consultants.
LTA, a Texas-based company. Founders Stuart Godwin, Steve Kaplan, and John Shands each have over 30 years of experience serving the needs and interests
of travel agents, travel suppliers and travel consumers.
LTA’s geographic focus consists of four sub-regions west of the Mississippi. Experience
suggests that preferred supplier relationships, marketing programs, agency needs
and consumer needs are more compatible and best served on a regional and sub-regional
basis. Travel agency affiliates from other regions are welcome if they find that
LTA’s programs and offerings fit their needs and the needs of their customers.
LTA will also thoughtfully manage the total number of its affiliated travel agencies
and agents. LTA’s projected
agency ceiling is 900 travel agencies.
